I'm Rhiannon,

First off, you should know this about me:
👉 I LIVE for women’s empowerment.
👉 I am OBSESSED with women’s health.

(Also: I’m an animal nut, a lover of 90’s dance mixes, and someone who’s not allowed to keep peanut butter in the house because I’ll eat it all in two days. 🤷‍♀️)

I've spent the past 15 years specializing in coaching women and I'm proud to have helped hundreds of clients across Canada, the U.S., and even as far away as Australia and New Zealand achieve sustainable, long-lasting transformations through female-focused fitness, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle strategies.

I believe my clients have been so successful because I've always done things a little differently than other trainers...

✔ I've trained my clients for strength, athleticism, and badass capability (as opposed to chasing smaller bodies or a number on the scale)

✔ I've educated my clients on their bodies, what's going on behind the scenes, and how their fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle protocols support their health and longevity (smart women want to know why they're doing something so they can connect with it deeply and stay motivated!)

✔ I've been a stickler for proper technique and teaching my clients how to adjust their workouts, meals, and other lifestyle factors based on their own body's feedback this (they're injury-free badasses who who don't get derailed because they know their bodies, and they know how to pivot and keep progressing.)

✔ I've been told that my coaching personality is like a mullet: business in the front, party in the back. I take women's health and getting my client's results very seriously, but my approach to getting those results is one that comes from vulnerability, authenticity, and a never-ending train of inappropriate metaphors. 

✔ I've grown an amazing community of like-minded women who help create a beautifully-empowering, judgment-free space for one another, who lift each other up and celebrate each other's wins, and who share in as much laughter as they do sweat. Life-long friendships have been foraged from within our community, and I think it's a major ingredient in the Fempire Fitness secret sauce.

It's this combination of doing things a little differently that has resulted in my clients:

​My Obsession with Female Health & Empowerment:

Gender inequality has never sat well with me. I've been especially bothered by the conventions that keep women on the wrong side of that equation, and I've long been passionate about doing my small part to empower women to live fiercely true to their potential so we can live great lives that we're proud of and bring some much-needed balance to this world.

 

I've seen repeatedly that when we feel our best, we do our best, and as a result, I believe that true empowerment for women is something that starts from the inside out with health-building strategies that are specific to our unique female physiology. For this reason, I've been committed to not just learning as much as I can about women's health, but to making it accessible for women in my community through conversations, collaborations, and my coaching programs.

This commitment was amplified a few years ago when at 38, I started experiencing the unexpected and frustrating symptoms of perimenopause. I was absolutely SHOCKED to learn that the menopause transition can start in your mid-30's (isn't that a 50s-something thing?) and despite my background in women's health and fitness, I felt completely blindsided. I've since been determined to learn as much as I can about menopause so that I can do everything in my power to help myself and my clients minimize it's impact and protect our health & longevity.

 

To me, women's health is more than just a trend, and fitness is more than just a thing you do to look a certain way - 

they're the catalysts for women's empowerment and putting the two together is my superpower and life's calling.

I'm Rhiannon,
Founder & Pro Trainer at Fempire Fitness

I’ve specialized in coaching women for 15 years and I’ve seen the same frustrating pattern over and over—women being dead-set on using fitness as a means to take up less space. Obsessing over shrinking, burning calories, and chasing a number on the scale. 

I too, spent years trapped in that mindset—until I flipped the script. When I started training for strength and capability instead of weight loss, everything changed. My body became leaner and more powerful without obsession. My energy soared. I felt unstoppable. And my clients? They saw the same game-changing results.

Then came perimenopause—unexpected, frustrating, and full of curveballs. Even with my background in health and fitness, I felt blindsided. So I did what I do best: I studied, tested, and built an approach that actually works for women in their 30s, 40s, and beyond.
